How to keep the gym fun!
at one point in my life going to the gym felt so blah, almost just as if i went to check the daily box.
now i throughly enjoy going!! here are some habits i formed to make it fun 🤩
🧘🏼♀️ treat yourself to cute workout attire (doesn’t have to be expensive! outfit i’m wearing is from target)
🧘🏼♀️ have a specific workout plan/routine before going. i am currently in my yoga/pilates phase. i try to find a good routine that is exciting and will give me a good sweat
🧘🏼♀️ create a good playlist!!! add songs you won’t skip, will raise your mood, keep the energy! having to stop and skip a song can throw off your rhythm
🧘🏼♀️ find a workout buddy! when i first started, going alone was intimidating. if you have a friend, family member, etc that’s willing ask them! it will make it easier to follow through, and keep you accountable!
🧘🏼♀️ most importantly, you are there for yourself!! do whatever makes you comfortable and happy. even if you go to walk on the treadmill or just stretch that’s AWESOME 👏🏼
hope this helps some 💗

To maintain your enthusiasm for the gym, consider exploring various fitness classes. Classes like Zumba, kickboxing, or spin can keep workouts dynamic. Setting fitness goals, like perfecting a yoga pose or increasing your running distance, can also enhance motivation. Incorporating variety into your routine by trying new workouts like HIIT, strength training, or dance can further prevent boredom. Remember, it’s also important to celebrate small wins on your fitness journey, whether that’s increasing your weights, mastering a new pose, or simply feeling more energized throughout the day. Staying hydrated and properly fueling your body with nutritious foods will further contribute to a positive gym experience. Furthermore, engaging with online fitness communities or participating in challenges can keep you accountable and inspired. By continuously seeking fun and rewarding activities related to fitness, you'll create lasting habits that ensure your visits to the gym remain enjoyable and fulfilling.
