TEAM FOSSIL ON ART FIGHT!

Okay, fellow artists, I'm officially geared up for Art Fight 2025, and I've joined Team Fossil! I know many of you are probably wondering which team to pick or how to jump into the chaos. Choosing which of the 'art fight teams' to join can be tough, but for me, Team Fossil just resonated with my aesthetic – think cool, ancient vibes, and awesome character designs! I'm so excited to get started, especially with my OCs, Viper and Crow, ready for some action. If you're still deciding on your team, remember it's all about what inspires you! Look at the previous years' team themes and see which one sparks your creativity. You're committing to a side for the whole month, so pick one you'll be happy drawing for. Once you've made your choice, setting up your 'artfight profiles' is absolutely key. Make sure to upload clear references of your original characters (OCs). For instance, my digital sketch of Viper, with her iconic horns and human skull, and Crow, with his pointed ears and animal skull, are designed to give artists a good idea of their features. Good, easy-to-understand references make it much easier for others to draw your characters accurately, and trust me, you want those quality revenges! Consider making a full character sheet if you have time, detailing colors, personality, and specific design notes. Speaking of profiles, I've seen some questions about 'how to change art fight username'. While it's generally best to stick with one name for recognition throughout the event, if you really need to change it, you usually do this through your account settings on the Art Fight website. Be aware that it might take a bit for everyone to recognize your new handle, so it's often smoother to decide on your name before the fight begins. For beginners, don't be intimidated by the sheer volume of amazing art! The goal is to have fun, draw, and connect with other artists. Don't worry about skill level; everyone is welcome, and even simple sketches are appreciated. My personal plan this year is to attack and revenge as much as possible throughout July. If you're looking for 'artfight profiles' to attack, a great strategy is to browse the 'active attacks' or 'newest characters' sections on the website. You can filter by team and character type to find OCs that inspire you. I'll personally be looking for fellow 'team fossils artfight' members to support with friendly fire, and opponents from the other team to challenge! It’s such a thrill to see your OCs drawn in someone else’s unique style. It's a fantastic way to get free art of your characters and give back to the community, fostering a really positive and energetic atmosphere.
