Someone convince me to finish this

It's been a hot minute since I last shared my art journey here, but I felt this WIP was something special I just had to share – and honestly, I need a little push to get it across the finish line! As you can see, I’m diving into some Augustus Everett fanart. He’s just such an iconic character from 'Beach Read,' and there’s something about his complexity, his wit, and his underlying vulnerability that really inspires me to try and capture his essence on canvas (or, well, on my digital tablet!). I find myself constantly re-reading my favorite scenes with him, trying to visualize that perfect expression or pose that truly embodies his spirit. When I first started sketching this piece, I was trying to figure out what moment or expression would best represent him. Sometimes it's hearing a specific song that reminds me of the character, or re-reading a favourite passage that highlights a key aspect of their personality. Other times, it's seeing how other amazing artists of Lemon8 tackle similar characters, which always gives me a massive boost of inspiration and reminds me why I love creating. This specific Augustus Everett fanart is currently at that stage where I’m adding foundational colors and refining the lines.
