Lately, I've found immense comfort in reflecting on the Bible's wisdom, especially when life feels uncertain. One verse that truly resonates with me, and I believe many of us can relate to, is from Isaiah 66:22: 'When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.' It’s so easy to get caught up in our own timelines, isn't it? We plan, we hope, we pray, and sometimes, the waiting can feel overwhelming. But this verse is a powerful reminder that God's timing is perfect, even when ours feels out of sync. It helps me remember that even in moments of waiting, God is actively working behind the scenes, preparing for His 'Miracles' to unfold in our lives. This trust then naturally led me to another beautiful verse: 'Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you!' from 1 Peter 5:7. These two verses really go hand-in-hand for me. If I truly believe that 'when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen,' then it makes perfect sense to release my worries and anxieties about when or how to Him. I've personally experienced the peace that comes from surrendering those burdens, knowing that a loving God is in control and truly cares for every detail of my life. Beyond just timing and anxiety, these reflections also deepen my understanding of God's love for us. The Bible reminds us in 1 John 4:19, 'We love because he first loved us.' This profound truth assures me that His plans for us are always rooted in love. And when I think about my own value and purpose, Psalm 139:14 comes to mind: 'I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.' It’s such an empowering statement! Knowing that I am wonderfully made by a God who loves me unconditionally helps me trust His guidance, even when the path isn't clear. It reinforces that I am worthy of His amazing plans. Living out this faith isn't just about reading verses; it’s about applying them. As 1 John 3:18 encourages, 'Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.' For me, this means actively trusting God while I wait, continuing to grow spiritually, and sharing my journey with others. It's about being present and open to how God might be using the waiting period to shape me, or even to connect me with fellow believers who are on a similar journey. Finding community where we can encourage each other, share our struggles, and celebrate our small 'miracles' along the way is incredibly valuable. These verses aren't just ancient texts; they are living words that can guide, comfort, and empower us every single day.
