Take the summer to reset, recharge, and lock in on your hobbies. The school year is so demanding and stressful, so it’s important to take time for yourself while you can.
The first week or so I prioritize going to bed early and waking up whenever my body wants to. Especially after finals week, I am usually sleep deprived and wired from the stress of everything going on.
Then I will spend my time being creative in ways I may not be able to during the school year: crocheting, playing guitar, drawing, and writing. Not only is this a relaxing and worry-free activity, it helps me get my brain working in a different way.
