FALL 2025 SEMESTER GOALS 🌸

Every semester I like to set 5 goals for myself. Here are the ones I decided on for this fall!

Gym 3-5 times a week

Last spring semester I started going to the gym consistently. I’ve been consistent ever since then and I plan to stay locked in this semester as well. I am excited to go back to the UF Recreational centers

10K steps a day

With my scooter, sometimes I don’t get many steps in a day. This summer, I made a habit of getting 10k steps everyday, usually by going on an hour long outside walk. I can really see a difference in my mental health and digestion since I started getting enough steps. I want to walk to class more often instead of scooting there and also trying to do an evening walk every day even if it’s just 10 minutes.

Keep up with my social media posting

Social media is my job, so I have to stay consistent with that as well. I want to take at least an hour (hopefully more) every day to work on content or even batch prepping content on the weekends.

Lock in academically

The classes I am going to take are very advanced, so I can’t slack off. I need to be on my A game with showing up every day, paying attention, and making sure I understand everything. Every day I want to review what I learned in all of my classes and what assignments I have to do. From day one, I need to be on top of my work.

Branch out and spend time w friends

Go to as many things as I can (while prioritizing school of course.) I want to try new academic clubs, make more friends in my sorority and classes, and be more adventurous socially. I’ve been alone for the vast majority of summer, so I am very very ready to be with my friends and make new ones.

There will be a LOT going on in the fall. I just have to come prepared, lock in, and have as much fun as I can because you’re only in college once!

Consistently hitting the gym 3-5 times weekly not only improves physical fitness but also elevates mental health and energy levels, preparing students for the demands of advanced coursework. Achieving 10,000 steps a day can enhance digestion, reduce stress, and boost overall well-being, which is important when juggling academic pressures. Maintaining a strong social media presence is crucial for students whose career paths depend on digital content creation. Regular posting and batch prepping content on weekends are effective strategies to stay consistent and relevant. This discipline also builds valuable skills like time management and audience engagement. Academic success in demanding courses requires daily review and active participation. Staying on top of assignments and understanding materials thoroughly from day one can lead to higher retention and better grades. Being proactive about learning minimizes end-of-semester stress and cultivates long-term academic skills. Social engagement, including participating in academic clubs, sororities, and new social opportunities, fosters community connections and personal growth. Balancing social activities with schoolwork is vital to enjoy the college experience fully while maintaining responsibility. In summary, the combined focus on physical activity, academic diligence, social media management, and social connectivity reflects a holistic approach to college life success. Embracing these five goals this fall semester can lead to a more fulfilled, productive, and enjoyable college journey.
