FIRST DAY OF CLASS DIML 🫶

School is back!! Spend my morning/afternoon with me

I had my first class at 10:40 so I decided to go to the gym before. Some days I go after class if I wake up late, but I wanted to start the semester off by waking up a little earlier. I got up at 8 am and got dressed for the gym. I had a protein shake with just protein powder and fair life milk for pre gym fuel. Then I took my scooter to the gym to hit legs. It was a decent workout!

At 10:20 am, after my workout, I took my scooter to my abstract algebra class. My second class was real analysis at 11:45 am. At 12:50 pm, I was starving so I went to my sorority house to get lunch. It was chicken salad and pasta salad :) Then I walked to the library to review my notes from class. I’m trying to stay on top of reviewing lectures so I fully understand what I learn each day. Then I finally walked home!

It was a long but successful first day of classes. I’m super excited to be back!

Incorporating regular exercise, such as a leg workout before classes, can boost your mental focus and stamina throughout the day. A protein shake made with protein powder and Fairlife milk is an excellent pre-workout fuel, providing sustained energy. Navigating campus efficiently, like using a scooter, helps save time and reduces fatigue between locations like the gym, classrooms, and dining spots. Midday meals, such as chicken salad and pasta salad at the sorority house, offer nutritious options that help keep hunger at bay without slowing you down. Reviewing lecture notes soon after class in a quiet space like the library supports better retention and deeper understanding, which is crucial for complex topics and upcoming quizzes. Keeping up this study habit helps avoid last-minute cramming and reduces stress throughout the semester. Adapting your routine to wake up earlier some days can set a positive tone for the day, promoting productivity and consistent learning. Whether it's hopping on your scooter for class, fitting in workouts, or making time for meals and review sessions, balancing these activities builds a fulfilling college experience. The key is staying organized and motivated, making each day productive and rewarding as you progress through your courses.
