SCRUNCHIES STOCKING STUFFERS
What You Need:
- 6mm / Size J hook
- Velvet Yarn, Bulky
- Hair Ties or Elastic
Instructions:
If you are using elastic sew together a band in your desired length. You can google recommended sizes. Typically, I use the hair ties from Walmart that are medium hold.
Round 1: Connect your yarn to the hair tie with your preferred knot or method. Then do 20-24 single crochets around the band/tie whichever covers the band completely without tension. If you need more or less keep it to an even number. All products are not made the same. Slip Stitch to close round.
Round 2: Chain 2 and then add 4 double crochets into the same space. Then continue around with 5 DC in each stitch. Slip Stitch to finish, cut and tie off your remaining yarn. Weave in your ends.
