Wentworth is a very compelling look into how Australian prisons are set up. The character development is some of the best I have seen in a series! There are some similarities to the US, but many are very different from what we know. Although Wentworth was released around the time of Orange Is The New Black, this is a different kind of prison series. Not taking away from OITNB, just different! With less humor and way more realistic drama, this is in my top 5 overseas series.
