Once saved always save doesn't apply to those who took Grace for granted

Revelries means merrymaking, partying.

If you are saved by Jesus Christ, however, you ignored the Spirit and go back to your old ways, Jesus will not accept you because you want to go back to your flesh. Once saved and you go back to the flesh taking Grace for granted, that is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

... Read moreGalatians 5:16-21 offers a clear warning about the dangers of succumbing to the sinful desires of the flesh instead of living by the Spirit. From my personal experience, embracing this teaching has been a journey of self-reflection and commitment. The passage lists behaviors such as adultery, drunkenness, and revelries—acts that can pull a believer away from a genuine relationship with God. One key takeaway is the phrase, 'walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.' This means actively choosing to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit daily rather than reverting to previous harmful habits or behaviors. Unfortunately, when one takes God's grace for granted and returns to such acts, it is considered the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, a serious spiritual consequence. I found that keeping focused on the Spirit’s guidance requires diligence; participating in revelries or behaviors associated with the flesh may seem harmless socially but can spiritually distance us from God. It’s not only about avoiding these actions but cultivating a life filled with love, patience, kindness, and other fruits of the Spirit. This teaching challenges believers to live sincerely—knowing that 'once saved, always saved' does not give a license to live carelessly. Instead, it calls for respect of the grace received, walking in the Spirit, and continually growing in faith. This journey has helped me appreciate the depth of Galatians’ message and encouraged a more Spirit-led life.
