The Lord's prayer

Our Father who art in Heaven,

Hallow be Your name,

Your Kingdom come,

Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

Do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever and ever, AMEN!

... Read moreReflecting on The Lord's Prayer, I found a new way to appreciate its structure as a timeline depicting our spiritual journey. Each phrase holds a step that deepens our connection with God and strengthens our faith. Starting with "Our Father who art in Heaven" reminds me of the relationship we have with a loving Creator watching over us. "Hallow be Your name" calls for reverence and respect for God's holiness in every aspect of life. When it says, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven," it speaks to hope and readiness for God's perfect rule. It encourages me to align my actions with that divine plan, trusting His timing. "Give us this day our daily bread" is a humbling request for sustenance, both physical and spiritual. I see it as a daily reminder to depend on God's provision. The powerful words, "forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us," challenge me personally to let go of grudges and embrace forgiveness, fostering peace. When praying, "Do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from evil," I feel a plea for protection and guidance through life's trials. This part strengthens my spiritual resilience. Finally, concluding with "For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever and ever, Amen," affirms God's eternal sovereignty and invites me to surrender control and trust fully. Understanding this prayer as a timeline has deepened my faith and brought new meaning to each recitation. It’s amazing how a prayer many of us learned in childhood unfolds as an ongoing spiritual journey reminding us of God's presence, love, and power in every moment.

That moment of surrender was not the end of the story. It was the beginning of my answered prayer. 🥹 There came a moment when I knew I could not carry everything on my own anymore. I had done what I could. I had tried my best. I had prayed, waited, and fought through the doubts. So I surrende

It took a perfect proposal to understand love.
Yes, the guy in all my previous posts is my partner. And yes—we are now engaged. It took a perfectly executed engagement for me to begin to understand love. I held back from writing because words felt inadequate. They always do when you try to capture a once-in-a-lifetime moment—the kind tha

2 Thessalonians 3:16– Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all. When we pray for others, we are not just wishing them well. We are inviting the Lord of peace Himself to step into their situation and surround them with His presence.

Sometimes, I come to God with this simple but honest prayer. Lord, if what I feel for someone will destroy me, distract me, or draw me away from you, please remove it from my heart. Guard my heart. ❤️‍🩹 I know He sees everything. He knows my future and what will happen next. That is why I choose

Gratitude Lives in the Small Things
Some weeks feel like a blur. Work, rushing between appointments and deadlines. But when I slow down, I realise God never left the picture. He’s there in the small interruptions, the quiet prayers, the kopi breaks that remind me I’m cared for. Gratitude doesn’t always come from big miracles. Som

In Times of Grief & Sorrow
We’ve all felt it — grief and sorrow. The kind that keeps you awake at night. The kind that makes you feel like you’re falling, and no one’s there to catch you. Like you’re in a dark tunnel with no light. Like you’re drifting at sea, with no land in sight. That’s how grief feels to me: never
