Many people often confuse the Church and Israel when it comes to this topic. The Bible indicates that the Church as the Body of Christ participates in the spiritual kingdom, while Israel is symbolically referred to as the Bride of Christ. This distinction is important because it highlights different roles in God’s plan. Spiritually, believers today are part of the body of Christ, which means we prepare ourselves to be rapture ready—ready to be caught up in the spiritual kingdom before the physical kingdom is established on Earth. This preparation requires faith, spiritual growth, and awareness of God’s timing. The reference to the New Jerusalem coming down symbolizes the future physical kingdom where Christ will reign on Earth. Before this can happen, God sets up the spiritual kingdom and calls His people to be ready. From what I have learned and witnessed in church discussions and personal reflection, this process isn't just a prophecy or event to fear but an invitation to live holy, hopeful lives. Learning about these themes has significantly influenced how I approach my daily walk with Christ. It encouraged me to focus on spiritual readiness and trust in God's plan, rather than just the literal events. Being rapture ready involves prayer, studying the scriptures, and living out Christian love as a testimony until the day the spiritual kingdom becomes visible physically. If you’re exploring these ideas, I recommend reading relevant Bible passages like Revelation, Ephesians, and 1 Thessalonians to get a broader context. Also, engaging with a community of believers who focus on end-time teachings can provide support and shared understanding as you grow in this area of faith.
