How to help w/mental health

🤍 These r some things I keep in my bag on the daily and for me u think this just works.

🩶 first things first I need pens, I’m a huge pen collector so the cooler the better lol

🖤 next I have a clip board, now I have that for a number of reasons. I’m weird and need to be organized so my thoughts all go here. Currently my birthday party is next weekend so I’m getting my guest list and food and games all ready.

💜 I found this budget planner for like 5 bucks at Ross and this has helped me keep track of my tips at work and all my bills. Me and my bf use this one a lot

💙 the never give up book is a fitness journal, and that is what I use every gym session and an everyday day kinda thing. It has a section on what u did and a person to where u can circle body parts on what u worked out on. I tell ya this was a game changer.

🩵 hot and sweaty Rex is a book series I’m starting to read … for me I’ve been wanting to read more and do more things like that so I just decided to go for it!

💚 the daily wellness journal has helped me with my depression a lot lately. It has good writing props that make me think and be greatful

💛 and lastly I have a just a plane Jane journal. Any kind of thought I have that I need to write down or a song in my head or something I just need to get out, I write it down … it’s helped me be organized and less scatter brained lol

🧡 I’m no professional anything (just at hair) but I truly believe in writing it down and doing things that help you out. This bag goes with me to work, to my car and then home. So practically everywhere lol

❤️ I will say sometimes it’s hard and sometimes I don’t wanna do it. Sometimes my depression gets the best of me and I don’t feel like pushing myself. But I take a breath let it out, vent to my bf or even playing hard Metal 🤘🏽 songs will ease me up but every day is a challenge and I choose to deal with it …..

Love ya 🩷

... Read moreManaging mental health can be challenging, but incorporating simple daily practices can make a significant difference. Many individuals find that keeping a journal helps in articulating thoughts and emotions, which can be a form of therapy. A daily wellness journal was mentioned, providing prompts that encourage gratitude and reflection. This practice not only aids in mental clarity but also fosters a positive mindset. Organizational tools like budget planners can reduce stress associated with financial responsibilities, allowing clearer focus on personal well-being. They track tips and expenses efficiently, fostering a sense of control and reduced anxiety. Many people engage in physical activities as a natural remedy for mental health issues. Fitness journals, like the 'Never Give Up' book, allow individuals to track their workouts, enhancing motivation and accountability. Reading, as mentioned with the 'Hot and Sweaty Rex' series, is another avenue for escapism and mental calmness. Engaging with literature can provide relief and distraction from daily stressors. It’s essential to build a toolkit that resonates personally, integrating tools that nourish the mind and spirit. While it may not always be easy, continuous commitment to activities that uplift oneself, like journaling thoughts, planning events, and listening to music, can help manage mental health more effectively. Remember, every small effort counts in nurturing your mental wellness.
