I can eat olives for hours 😂

2/22 Edited to

... Read moreOlives are one of those unique snacks that almost anyone can enjoy, and I find myself eating them for hours because their flavor profile is just so captivating. Whether they are green, black, stuffed, or marinated, olives have a wonderful balance of salty, tangy, and sometimes even fruity notes that make them endlessly satisfying. From my experience, olives also have a great versatility that keeps the snacking interesting. I like trying them plain as a quick snack, but they also take center stage when added to salads, charcuterie boards, and Mediterranean dishes. There’s something wonderfully addictive about the briny taste that stimulates your palate every time. For example, a few slices of kalamata olives in a Greek salad or a handful of green olives paired with cheese can be a perfect midday treat. One tip I've learned is that the quality and preparation of olives matter a lot. Freshly marinated olives with herbs like rosemary, thyme, or even chili flakes add a depth of flavor that really elevates the experience. If you are new to olives, I recommend trying a variety pack that lets you explore different kinds and find your favorite. Be mindful though, olives are naturally salty, so moderation is key, especially if you’re watching your sodium intake. Eating olives also brings some health benefits, as they are rich in healthy fats, antioxidants, and vitamins, which can be a great addition to a balanced diet. Personally, I find that having a small bowl of olives during snack time not only satisfies my cravings but also makes me feel like I’m treating myself to something gourmet and wholesome. Overall, olives are more than just a snack—they are an experience and a tiny culinary adventure with every bite. If you haven’t already fallen in love with olives like I have, give them a try with different flavor pairings and see how enjoyable and endlessly snackable they can be!

What I Eat in a Day | to stay lean + build muscle
This is what my meals usually look like! 🫘 Nothing fancy just clean protein from beans which are also full of fiber and I pair them with quinoa to make the dish a complete protein (adds more protein - quinoa has more protein than rice). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is between 20-40g of protein.
