What you'll need for this delicious Thai basil sweet chili chicken: For the Chicken: About 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces. A little salt, pepper, and garlic powder for seasoning. Using thighs can add extra juiciness! For the Sauce: Your favorite sweet chili sauce (I like to use one with a medium heat for a little kick!), a good splash of soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option), a touch of rice vinegar for brightness, and a generous handful of fresh Thai basil leaves. This is key for that authentic basil chili chicken flavor! For the Veggies: 1 large red bell pepper (sliced thin), about 1 cup fresh asparagus spears (trimmed and cut into 1-2 inch pieces).
