Oh spring, oh spring,
I can’t wait for thee
to paint the world
with tiny shades of green.

The winter browns
have weighed us down,
but now we’re ready
for you to come around.

Let the fields come alive,
let the strong ones thrive.
Nests will be built,
new homes will rise,
families multiply,
and everything bloom again.

We’re ready to come back to life!
Rainy days will bring
bright flowers in bloom—
reds, yellows, and blues.

We could all use
a new color or two.

The winter was long,
but spring is coming strong.
Butterflies are fluttering by,
fish are jumping high with glee.
Birds are chirping everywhere—
Please, Mr. Butterfly,
come and land on me!

Look closer at the ground,
you’ll see the leaves
in beautiful shades—
tan, gold, red, and brown.
They blanket the earth
with warmth and care.

Life is returning,
full of joy everywhere.

... Read moreSpring is truly one of the most refreshing and uplifting seasons. As the grip of winter fades, it's remarkable to witness nature transform around us. From my own experience, I've found that spending time outdoors during spring is not only delightful but rejuvenating for the soul. The sight of tiny green shoots piercing through the soil, birds rebuilding nests, and butterflies fluttering nearby fills me with hope and positivity. One of my favorite springtime activities is visiting local gardens and parks where flowers burst into vibrant reds, yellows, and blues. These colors, as the poem mentions, bring a much-needed splash of life after the monotone browns of winter. I've also noticed that rainy days play a crucial role in this season, nourishing the earth and prompting growth that results in such spectacular blossoms. Observing wildlife during spring adds another layer of magic. Fish leaping with energy, birds singing their morning songs, and butterflies like the 'Mr. Butterfly' in the poem dancing above flowers are signs that life is thriving. This return of life encourages us to reconnect with nature and appreciate the environment more deeply. Beyond aesthetics, spring reminds me of new beginnings—not just for nature but for ourselves too. It’s an ideal time to embrace change, set fresh goals, and nurture personal growth. Whether through gardening, going on hikes, or simply enjoying the longer daylight, embracing spring's energy can revitalize our minds and bodies. In essence, spring is not just a season but a celebration of resilience and renewal. Experiencing its colors, sounds, and vitality firsthand enriches our appreciation for life’s continuous cycles and the joy found in small, daily wonders.
