🧚 The Lazy Fairies’ Lie

Deep in the woods, where the fern and frogs sing, The fairies got bored and started to think.

What if we told them to keep their wishes to themselves, and we could go play some games on the elves.

So a rumor they started,

They whispered in ears,

“Keep wishes secret,

speak not a peep,

Or your precious wish

You will never find no mater how you seek!”

But the truth, dear heart, is quite the reverse, For wishes need voices to break their curse.

Everything time it’s spoken

It plants more seeds

Don’t let your wish get broken

By some rascals misdeeds.

So, Write it down,

Put it by your bed

So you can wish upon a star

As you lay down your weary head.

Tell those you love, with all your might, so your wish can take flight.

For without them knowing

how can your friends

lend a hand, no man is an island or a one man band.

Meanwhile, the fairies, with time on their hands,*

Went pranking the girls throughout all the lands!

They rascalled through forests, played tricks in the trees,

And giggled while stealing honey from bees.

So speak your wish boldly, let everyone hear,*

For love makes wishes stronger when held by those dear.

And never trust fairies who tell you to hush… They’ve got pranks for days so make all the wishes you MUST!! 🍄🧚🏼‍♀️✨
