The red octagonal pavilion seen at the end of the bridge is the Huilan Pavilion, a landmark that appears on the famous Qingdao beer logo.
The bridge has a history of more than a hundred years, stretching 440 meters into Qingdao Bay, walking through a city view that combines European buildings with modernity.
The most upsetting highlight is that if anyone comes during the month of Nov-Apr, there will be tens of thousands of Siberian gulls migrating here like us! The children are very cute and friendly. Fly around to take pictures and play as they are in Europe. Everyone is very good.
We came in the evening, crowded crowds on the bridge and on both sides of the beach, easy to walk to find a corner, the sky was dark at five o'clock, the light was low, just for a little time.

ถ้าใครกำลังแพลนเที่ยวชิงเต่าและเล็ง “สะพานจ้านเฉียว (Zhanqiao Pier)” ไว้ แนะนำให้เผื่อเวลาเดินเล่นแบบไม่รีบ เพราะบรรยากาศมันดีจริงๆ โดยเฉพาะตอนที่เดินไปเรื่อยๆ จนเห็น “ศาลาหุ่ยหลาน” สีแดงเด่นอยู่ปลายสะพาน (มุมนี้คือซิกเนเจอร์สุด และเป็นจุดที่คนชอบยืนถ่ายรูปกันเยอะมาก) ช่วงที่ประทับใจที่สุดคือฤดูนกนางนวล (ประมาณ พ.ย.–เม.ย.) นกนางนวลไซบีเรียนมาเป็นฝูงใหญ่ บินเหนือทะเล เกาะตามโขดหินริมฝั่ง และวนใกล้ๆ ตัวเรา ทำให้รูปออกมามีชีวิตชีวามาก แนะนำทริกเล็กๆ คือถ้าอยากถ่ายให้ติดทั้งสะพาน+ศาลาหุ่ยหลาน+นกนางนวล ลองยืนที่ริมชายหาดหรือบริเวณโขดหินฝั่งข้างสะพานก่อน แล้วค่อยเดินขึ้นไปบนสะพาน จะได้ทั้งมุมกว้างและมุมใกล้สลับกัน เวลาไปที่เหมาะ: ถ้าอยากได้แสงสวยๆ ให้ไปเช้าหรือบ่ายแก่ๆ เพราะช่วงเย็นฟ้ามืดไวมาก (พอประมาณ 5 โมง แสงจะเริ่มน้อย ถ่ายรูปยากขึ้น) ส่วนวันหยุดคนจะเยอะเป็นพิเศษ ทั้งบนสะพานและริมทะเล ถ้าอยากเดินสบายๆ แนะนำเลือกวันธรรมดา การแต่งตัว/ของที่ควรพก: ลมทะเลแรงกว่าที่คิด โดยเฉพาะบนสะพาน ควรพกเสื้อกันลมหรือผ้าพันคอ และใส่รองเท้าที่เดินสบาย เพราะพื้นอาจลื่นนิดๆ ตรงโซนที่ใกล้น้ำทะเล ถ้าจะถ่ายรูปนกนางนวลให้คม แนะนำตั้งกล้อง/มือถือเป็นสปีดชัตเตอร์สูงหรือใช้โหมดถ่ายต่อเนื่อง การเดินทาง: จุดนี้อยู่ใกล้สถานีรถไฟ Qingdao Railway Station มาก เดินได้จริง เหมาะมากสำหรับคนที่มีเวลาจำกัดหรืออยากจัดเป็นทริปครึ่งวัน แล้วค่อยต่อไปโซนเมืองเก่า ถ้าจะจัดวันเดียวกันให้คุ้ม (เดินไม่เหนื่อยเกิน): หลังเช็กอินจ้านเฉียวแล้ว ค่อยไป St. Michael’s Cathedral ต่อด้วยเดินเล่นถนน/ย่านเมืองเก่าอย่าง Silverfish Street ได้เลย ฟีลสตรีท+คาเฟ่+สถาปัตยุโรปเข้ากันมาก หรือถ้ามีแรงและอยากได้วิวทะเลเพิ่ม ค่อยขยับไป Xilingxia ปิดท้ายก็ลงตัว
