Fritters for toddler
I made some sweet potato, chicken, and kale fritters for my toddler. He doesn’t like to eat veggies so I gotta make fritters for him and hide the veggies from him.
Fritters are an excellent way to introduce vegetables into your toddler's diet without them realizing it. These sweet potato fritters combine the nutrition of sweet potatoes, chicken, and kale, making them not only delicious but also packed with vitamins and minerals. Sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene, which is important for healthy vision, while chicken provides protein essential for growth. Kale, known for being a superfood, is also incorporated into the fritters, offering a boost of antioxidants and fiber. To make the fritters even more appealing, consider adding herbs and spices like garlic powder or paprika for added flavor. The method of cooking—baking or pan-frying—can also be adjusted to suit your preferences, ensuring they remain crispy and delicious. Involve your toddler in the cooking process! Let them mix the ingredients or help shape the fritters. This not only makes cooking fun but can also help them feel more invested in eating what they helped create. Lastly, serve these fritters with a healthy dipping sauce like yogurt or homemade avocado dip to make mealtime more enjoyable. These tips will help ensure that mealtime is less stressful and more enjoyable for both you and your little one.
