Chicken Noodle Soup!

My first time making chicken noodle soup.

I used:

-Chicken thighs (seared then shredded)

- 8 cups of chicken broth

- 4 big celery chopped

- 3 big carrots sliced

- 1 can of condensed chicken soup with herbs

- 2 yellow onions diced

- egg noodles (I cook separate and pour the soup on top to avoid them getting to soggy)

To season I am using salt, pepper, Italian seasoning blend, garlic powder, and a dash of paprika.

Let me know if I can improve this recipe! I will update when done on how it is 💖

... Read moreChicken noodle soup is a classic dish that warms the heart and home, perfect for any occasion. This dish not only offers comfort but also provides a nutritious option for family meals. When making chicken noodle soup, selecting the right ingredients can make a significant difference in taste and texture. First, using chicken thighs allows for a richer flavor compared to chicken breasts. Thighs are also more forgiving during cooking, retaining moisture and tenderness. The broth is essential; opt for a quality chicken broth or stock, as it forms the base of your soup. You can enhance this by simmering it with fresh herbs such as thyme or parsley. Fresh vegetables not only contribute to the flavor but also add nutritional value. Chopped celery and carrots provide a delightful crunch and sweetness. Seasoning is key; a blend of Italian spices, garlic powder, and a touch of paprika create depth in your soup. For an extra layer of flavor, you can sauté onions and garlic before adding them to the broth. Remember that the noodles are best added just before serving to keep them al dente. Enjoy customizing your chicken noodle soup with your favorite add-ins, such as spinach or corn, for varied textures and tastes. This recipe is a wonderful way to bring family together, evoking warmth and nostalgia in every bowl!

It was really good! Honestly, would not do anything different next time. Husband ate it up. This one is definitely a keeper. I served it with a side of biscuits for dipping the broth!
