It's so much fun challenging you all to guess my home state after I've explored 11 incredible places across the US! Each state holds such unique memories for me, and I love looking back at the map and seeing all the yellow highlights – representing 22% of the country I've been lucky enough to visit. Thinking about some of these states, I remember the vibrant energy of Florida's beaches, where the sun always seemed to shine brighter, and the ocean breeze was a constant companion. Then there's the truly unique experience of Hawaii, with its stunning volcanic landscapes, lush tropical forests, and the incredibly warm aloha spirit that makes you feel instantly at home, even if it's just for a visit. My adventures also took me through the vast wilderness of the West. Montana and Wyoming offered breathtaking views of expansive plains and towering mountain ranges – a true picture of untamed beauty. Driving through those states, you really get a sense of how big and diverse our country is. The majestic peaks of Colorado were absolutely awe-inspiring, perfect for hiking and just soaking in the natural grandeur. And the striking, colorful desert landscapes in Arizona left me speechless, especially seeing the iconic red rocks. Heading north, I discovered the quiet charm of the Dakotas. North Dakota and South Dakota surprised me with their serene beauty, rich history, and friendly small towns. And Minnesota, with its 'Land of 10,000 Lakes,' offered endless opportunities for relaxing by the water and enjoying nature's calm. The Pacific Northwest also captured my heart. Washington impressed me with its lush greenery, vibrant cities, and stunning coastal views, while Idaho showcased rugged mountain scenery and pristine wilderness areas that are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but each of these 11 states – Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Florida, and Hawaii – left its own special mark. When I think about 'home,' it's more than just a place on a map; it's about the feeling, the community, and the memories created there. So, when you're trying to figure out which state I live in, think about these experiences. Does one of them resonate more with a 'home' vibe? Or maybe you can spot a pattern in my travels that hints at my roots? I'm so excited to see your guesses! What states have you visited, and which one truly feels like home to you?
