Do people notice??

I swear, being a girl should come with a manual. Every pair of “seamless” underwear claims it won’t show through leggings… then I put them on and boom the outline is right there saying hi to the world 😭

It made me wonder: do people (especially guys) actually notice VPL under leggings? Or is it one of those things we obsess over way more than anyone else does? I’ve never thought badly of anyone whose underwear shows a little it’s normal, we’re human but I can’t help being self-conscious about it.

Do you think people really notice, or is it just in our heads?

... Read moreVisible panty lines (VPL) under leggings can be a source of frustration, especially when you’ve invested in seamless underwear that promises to stay hidden. However, the truth is that many people, particularly in casual or everyday settings, barely notice these details. Most tend to focus on the person’s overall outfit and confidence rather than small details like VPL. Interestingly, guys’ perspectives on underwear outlines can vary. Surveys and informal polls suggest that while some do notice, it’s rarely a big deal. They often assume it’s normal and not a reflection on style or cleanliness. For many, it’s simply overlooked or, at best, a minor detail. From a practical standpoint, choosing the right underwear material and fit can minimize visible outlines. Options like laser-cut edges, thong styles, or bodysuits are favourites for wearing under leggings if you want to avoid VPL. Additionally, leggings made from thicker or patterned fabric are less likely to reveal outlines. It’s important to remember that self-consciousness about such things is normal but often overemphasized. Confidence in your outfit can help divert attention from these minor worries. Ultimately, wearing what makes you feel comfortable and confident matters most. So, while you might obsess over whether people notice your underwear outline under leggings, most likely, they either don’t notice or don’t consider it important. The focus should be on your comfort and confidence rather than perfection, as everyone has little wardrobe quirks and imperfections.

in 6th grade I was like talking to my friends and apparently it was visible but I didn't know. 3 years later I had my first bf and I asked him when he first liked me and he said it was that day when he saw my underwear line and everyone was looking at it. I broke up with him that week
