Hi!! I’m Emma!

Hey everyone! So thrilled to finally be diving into the Lemon8 community and connecting with you all. As I mentioned in my intro, I'm Emma, and my life is a beautiful, chaotic blend of young motherhood, big dreams, and a whole lot of love. I'm a first-time mom who had my amazing son, 'Wardog,' at 18, and now we're excitedly preparing for baby 'Kal' to join our little family! It's been an incredible journey so far, full of learning, laughter, and a few tears (mostly mine, usually from exhaustion!). Being a young mom has its unique challenges and incredible rewards. There’s a certain magic in growing up alongside your children, discovering yourselves together. I’m eager to share the honest realities of daily toddler adventures with Wardog – from messy playtimes that feel like natural disasters to those quiet moments that melt your heart. And with Kal on the way, our home is buzzing with anticipation! We’re already thinking about nursery decor, baby-proofing, and all the sweet chaos a newborn brings. It’s a joy to embrace every stage, and I can’t wait to share our preparations with you all. Our 'little family est. 2022' is growing, and we're just getting started! Beyond family life, my husband and I are embarking on a huge adventure: renovating our first home! We’re currently in the planning stages, dreaming about transforming each room into a cozy, functional space for our growing crew. The kitchen, being the heart of any home, is definitely on our radar for a major overhaul. I’m hoping to share before-and-afters, DIY tips, budget-friendly ideas, and maybe even some renovation fails – because let's be real, those happen! It’s a big project, but we’re excited to create a space that truly reflects our family's personality and needs, especially with two energetic little boys running around. Keep an eye out for updates on our progress; I'd love to hear your renovation hacks too! Living in a small town definitely shapes our lifestyle. There's a wonderful sense of community and simplicity that I adore, which is perfect for raising a family. It often means getting creative with activities and finding joy in the everyday moments, whether it's a walk through the local park or a quiet evening at home. Of course, my obsession with everything cow-related also ties into my small-town roots – you'll probably see a lot of cow print and farm-inspired decor in our home projects!
