I recently attended the community event at the Boys and Girls Club in Waianae and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming with plenty of activities for everyone. Chardonnay’s live performance at 11:30 AM was a highlight, setting a joyful tone for the day. The event truly had something for all ages—free carnival games and face painting kept the kids entertained, while food vendors served local favorites like syz fries and other delicious treats. Balloon animal making was a big hit among the little ones, and I enjoyed browsing the variety of craft vendors showcasing unique handmade items. What made the event special was the community spirit, especially during the panel speaking session where local youth voiced concerns about safety and other important issues to stakeholders like Andrea Tupola and Darius Kila. It was inspiring to see young voices actively participating and engaging with community leaders to find solutions.
