No budget dinner party grocery shopping

I was able to host a no budget dinner party through on of my organizations on campus. My team and I did oil fondue which for 6 people averaged around $100. Even thought I had no budget I still wanted to be mindful of our funds so I planned my shopping trips and went at it. We had a really good time at dinner and were able to enjoy ourselves.

Here are additional tips to enhance your event without overspending: 1. **Plan Your Menu**: Focus on simple, delicious dishes that don't require expensive ingredients. Consider meals like pasta, stir-fries, or fondue, as they are both affordable and can be enjoyed communally. 2. **Bulk Shopping**: Purchase ingredients in bulk to save money. Products like rice, beans, and frozen vegetables can be bought in larger quantities for greater savings. 3. **Seasonal Ingredients**: Use seasonal fruits and vegetables, which are often cheaper and fresher. Visit local farmers' markets for great deals and support local farmers. 4. **DIY Decorations**: Instead of spending on decorations, get creative. Use items you already have at home or make simple decorations using craft supplies or natural elements like flowers and greenery. 5. **Share Costs**: Consider hosting potluck-style dinners where each guest brings a dish. This way, you get a variety of foods while splitting costs among friends. 6. **Utilize Coupons and Deals**: Always look for coupons or special deals at your local grocery stores, which can significantly cut down on expenses. By implementing these strategies, you can throw an enjoyable dinner party that keeps costs under control while allowing everyone to have a fantastic time together.

I love the haul!!! I’d def recommend dollar tree if you have one nearby for cookie mix, marshmallows and chocolate chips! I’m pretty sure they also have fish batter 🤞
