Travel with Me: Tennessee Weekend Trip 📍
This last weekend my husband and I went to Tennessee for my birthday. 🥰 the first two days we were in Nashville, and the last two days we were in Gatlinburg.
When we were in Nashville, we saw:
🌟 Nashville Zoo - LOVED this. The whole zoo was so beautiful. We loved how the animal enclosures were built into the natural landscape, and the animals actually had really nice and natural environments. They had a little kangaroo/wallaby petting area (my personal fav), and I did not expect them to be that soft.
🌟 For lunch we went to Aquarium Restaurant in the Opry Mall. In the center there was a large aquarium with really unique fish. Food was pretty good, but nothing too crazy.
🌟 Lastly we went to the Country Music Hall of Fame, and honestly we thought it was overhyped. Still a cool experience but honestly it wasn’t as cool as we thought it would be. It was mostly just outfits from singers. 🤷🏼♀️ My husband is big into country but he was even sitting there like 🤨.
In Gatlinburg:
🌟 We went to Dollywood and we LOVED it. It was supposed to rain that weekend but didn’t, so hardly anyone was at the park. We waited on average 5 minutes for every ride we went on, it was so sunny and perfect weather. The park was so cute and we honestly loved it.
🌟 We got back to Gatlinburg after going to Dollywood a bit late on a Sunday night, so there wasn’t much open. But we went to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum and it was actually a lot more entertaining than we thought it would be.
