Travel w/ Me: Grand Teton National Park📍
My friend and I have a goal to see every national park and Grand Teton did not disappoint. We saw both male and female moose, and learned that they have clear eyelids to allow them to see underwater and can dive up to 20 feet?? Insane. We saw the biggest elk in the park and he has been nicknamed “Fabio”. True to his name, he had like 3-4 female elk in the woods behind him waiting for him to finish munching. One of my favorite sites was the little black bear who had been hanging out in the bushes eating berries and just minding his business. 🥹
I also found out that the Great Tetons was named by explorers hundred of years ago that thought the mountain range looked like a woman laying down with her breasts visible. Personally, I don’t see it. But they basically named the park Great Tits, which is hilarious.
There are tons of hiking trails, lodges, lakes, and biking within the park, and the Grand Tetons is the only national park that allows hunting, fishing, gathering, and even has an airport within its boundaries. It’s a great spot for nature lovers, and I’d love to go back. 💕
