Bone broth is not only a flavorful addition to your meals but also packed with nutrients that support gut health, joint function, and skin elasticity. To enhance the nutritional profile, consider adding vegetables like carrots and celery during the cooking process. You can also use leftover bones from your roasted chicken or turkey to give new life to your kitchen scraps. Once your broth is ready, strain it, and you can store it in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze it in portions for later use. If you're seeking to boost collagen intake, aim for a longer cooking time, which can yield a richer and more nutritious broth. Experimenting with herbs and spices, such as thyme and garlic, can personalize flavors to your taste preferences, ensuring every batch is uniquely yours. Enjoy your broth in a warming soup or sip it straight to reap its health benefits.
