learning about yourself as an adult
i never used to be interested in my heritage. the last few days i’ve been so intrigued!! my mom is from #elsalvador, and i’ve just discovered that her family is native! part of the tribe called the pipil. i’m proud to be a first gen american, but i feel since i didn’t grow up with much of my family around me (canada is more secure for citizenships) ive missed on so much culture and tradition. im trying to face that now, by making pupusas and being inspired to make art. enjoy my #aztec inspired painting!! #art #painting
