What’s your readers confession?

hey everyone, it takes time for me to post often but I’m starting this new series called “A readers confession” where we share all of our reader tips, tricks, kinks, all kids of thinks you would like to share that is unusual or interesting.

Have a great night besties

... Read moreAs an avid reader myself, I find participating in confession-style discussions like this one incredibly refreshing. It's fascinating to learn that many readers share the same guilty pleasure of DNF'ing (Did Not Finish) more books than they actually complete. This honesty helps reduce the pressure to finish every book, reminding us that reading should be enjoyable rather than a chore. When I started embracing my reading quirks, such as flipping through multiple books at once or revisiting my favorite scenes repeatedly, I discovered new ways to deepen my connection with literature. Sharing these personal habits and hearing others’ experiences creates a supportive community where unconventional reading strategies are welcomed. Additionally, readers' confessions often include tips on how to choose books that truly resonate, avoid book fatigue, and discover hidden gems. For example, some readers recommend setting a timer for reading sessions to maintain focus, or keeping a reading journal to track impressions and favorite quotes. This series encourages readers to open up about their unique relationships with books, be it quirky rituals, unexpected emotional reactions, or even guilty pleasures like book collecting or binge-reading genres typically outside their comfort zone. Embracing these candid confessions fosters a more inclusive, enjoyable reading culture where everyone’s story—and book journey—matters.
