LISTEN FOR THE LIE BOOK REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!! In the small town that Lucy grew up in…everyone thought that Lucy was the one that killed her best friend Savvy. She met a podcaster name Ben Owens. Ben Owens decided to investigate Savvy’s murder for his podcast called “Listen for the Lie”. I loved all of the Twists and Turns in this book!

The narrators January LaVoy and Will Damron were absolutely amazing! I absolutely loved their voices in this audiobook!!

... Read moreWhen I first dove into "Listen for the Lie," I was immediately pulled into Lucy's world, and I quickly understood why so many people are asking questions about her and the central mystery. One of the recurring questions I've seen is about Lucy's age, particularly "Lucy Chase age 30." While the book doesn't explicitly highlight "Lucy Chase age 30" in bold letters, her journey strongly implies she’s a woman in her late twenties or early thirties, returning to her small hometown after a decade, forced to confront the trauma of her best friend Savvy’s murder. This return, and the weight of the past accusations, really shapes her character and makes you empathize with her difficult situation. The entire premise of "Listen for the Lie" revolves around the chilling question of "who killed Savvy." This isn't a book where the killer is revealed early on; instead, Amy Tintera expertly crafts a narrative that keeps you guessing until the very end. Everyone in the town believes Lucy was responsible, and as the reader, you're right there with podcaster Ben Owens, trying to sift through the unreliable memories and hidden truths. It’s a classic whodunit, but with a modern twist of true-crime podcasting, which I found incredibly engaging. The suspense is palpable, making it genuinely hard to put down. Speaking of engagement, the visual aspect of the book also plays a role in its appeal. Many people are curious about the "Listen for the Lie thriller novel cover." I absolutely loved the striking red cover, which prominently features quotes from literary giants like Stephen King and Liane Moriarty, alongside the "Good Morning America Book Club" seal. This instantly signals that you're in for a high-quality, intense psychological thriller. The cover art itself gives off a mysterious and slightly ominous vibe, perfectly setting the stage for the dark secrets contained within the pages. It's truly a cover that grabs your attention and makes you want to pick it up. For those who enjoy audiobooks, "Listen for the Lie" is an absolute must-listen. The original review mentioned the fantastic narration, and I couldn't agree more. January LaVoy and Will Damron truly bring the story to life, enhancing the tension and making the characters feel incredibly real. Listening to their voices as the twists and turns unfolded added another layer of immersion to the story. An audiobook player showing "Listen for the Lie: A Novel, Chapter 2 of 86" with playback progress really makes you appreciate the journey the narrators take you on. The experience of listening to Lucy grapple with her past, and hearing the different perspectives through the podcast segments, was incredibly well done. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, whether in print or audio, this one definitely delivers. It’s a masterclass in suspense, making you question everything and everyone until the final, shocking revelation.
