I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!! I absolutely loved Noah and Sage so much.

I did not like the narrations. The narrator that did Sage voice was amazing. I did not like the narrator who did Noah and especially when Noah was talking in Sage’s POV.

... Read moreOkay, so let me just gush a little more about 'Outdrawn' by Deanna Grey, because seriously, this book lives rent-free in my head! If you're anything like me and you live for a good rivals to lovers story, then you NEED to pick this up. The tension between Noah and Sage? Absolutely *chef's kiss*. From the moment they meet, you can feel that spark, that push-and-pull that makes this trope so addictive. It's not just a surface-level rivalry; there are genuine reasons behind their conflict, which makes their eventual connection feel incredibly earned and satisfying. What really made me fall head over heels were Noah and Sage themselves. Sage is such a vibrant character, and Noah, well, he’s got that brooding charm that just gets you. Their banter is top-tier, and I found myself laughing out loud at their exchanges multiple times. But it's not all just witty remarks; Deanna Grey does a fantastic job of peeling back their layers, showing their vulnerabilities and their dreams. You really root for them, even when they're driving each other crazy. Now, let's talk about the spice level, because I know some of you are curious! With my personal 🌶️🌶️🌶️.75 rating, you can expect some really steamy moments. It’s definitely present and adds to the intensity of Noah and Sage’s relationship, but it never overshadows the plot or character development. It feels organic to their journey and enhances their connection rather than just being there for shock value. It’s the kind of spice that makes your heart race alongside the emotional rollercoaster. And a huge part of my reading experience was the audiobook! As someone who juggles a lot, audiobooks are my go-to, and 'Outdrawn' was a journey. The narration by Julienne Rons for Sage was absolutely phenomenal. She captured every nuance, every emotion, making Sage truly come alive. Her performance was so engaging that I often found myself just wanting to listen to her parts over and over. However, my feelings were a bit mixed for Noah's parts. While Sondra Symons also contributed to the narration, I personally didn't connect as much with the voice chosen for Noah, especially when he was speaking from Sage’s perspective. It sometimes pulled me out of the moment, which was a little disappointing given how much I loved the story itself. But don't let that deter you! The story is strong enough to carry you through, and Julienne's incredible performance more than makes up for it. In short, if you're looking for a rivals to lovers romance with incredible characters, a fantastic plot, and a healthy dose of spice, 'Outdrawn' is absolutely worth your time. It's the kind of book that leaves you smiling long after you've finished the last chapter (or listened to the epilogue!). Go give it a listen or a read; you won't regret it!
