This long weekend, I believe that many people are starting the New Year Resolution list again. One of them may be "earning more" or "doing Side Project." Most of the problems are not that we don't have ideas, but that we "don't dare to start" or "think too much that we don't do" more than 😅
So today I took the opportunity to tell you about Noah Kagan's book Million Dollar Weekend (founder of AppSumo and former pioneer employee of Facebook). This book is not a How-to Rich Shortcut book that may be misleading (I was mistaken 🤣), but it is a "psychological guide for people who dare not act."

The heart of this book is "NOW," not "HOW" (do it, don't ask how). Noah believes that the greatest enemy is fear and perfection. These are the three main points I outlined.

1.Rejection Tolerance
Overcome fear with "rejection."
What stops us is not the difficulty of the job, but the fear of being told "no." Noah recommends an exercise called The Coffee Challenge: walk into a cafe, order a drink, and ask for a 10% discount. The goal is not to get a discount (most of which are not).
But it's to train the body to get used to the "broken face" of rejection often. When you get used to it, you dare to offer work, you dare to present new ideas without worrying too much about the results.

2. The Law of 100
The Law of Repetition
Most people quit because they did it a few times and didn't work.
Noah proposed the rule of 100, no matter what he did, to complete 100.
For example:
- If you want to do YouTube, don't watch the views until you have completed 100 clips.
- To sell things, don't be discouraged until you have contacted 100 customers.
This rule will allow you to shift your focus from "results" (uncontrollable) to "processes" (that we control). This actually reduces pressure and creates discipline.

3.Validate First, Build Later
Sold before building
Don't waste your time making logos, creating websites, or writing down companies without the "first 3 customers" paying you.
The way is to ask the person in real trouble if we can solve the problem for him, will he pay?
If he transfers money (Pre-order), that's a green light, but if not...Just change the idea without you losing a penny.
