new books I recently bought
so yesterday I got into a car accident...I’m just a girl. so obviously I had to treat myself to a barnes and noble trip
the I got two books the first one:
📚 unnatural by mia sheridan, I’ve been wanting to read this book since it came out. So I finally picked it up, and this book is inspired by frankenstein which is my favorite classic book. So I’m so excited to read it!!
📚 wild eyes by elise silver, I got the barnes and noble edition which comes with an exclusive art print which the art is SO PRETTY. And I’m a sucker for the ex boyfriend’s dad trope, so you know I ATE it up. And the smut is SO SO GOOD.
what’s on your tbr list, or what books have you gotten recently?

There's nothing quite like the joy of a fresh book haul, especially when you've had a day that calls for a little retail therapy! I recently indulged in a Barnes & Noble trip, and let me tell you, walking out with a bag full of NEW BOOKS is just the best feeling. It's not just about the stories inside, but also the experience of discovering beautiful cover books and adding them to your collection. First up in my haul was 'Unnatural' by Mia Sheridan. I've been eyeing this one since it came out, and as a huge fan of 'Frankenstein,' the inspiration behind it immediately piqued my interest. If you love classic literature with a modern, perhaps darker, twist, this might be a cool new book for your reading list. I'm so excited to see how Sheridan reimagines such a beloved (and haunting!) tale. It's the kind of book that promises to be thought-provoking and atmospheric, perfect for those who enjoy literary fiction with a touch of gothic romance. Then, I couldn't resist picking up 'Wild Card' by Elsie Silver. Oh my goodness, this book! Not only does it have a truly gorgeous art print that comes with the Barnes & Noble exclusive edition (the art is SO pretty, I can't get over it!), but the cover itself is absolutely stunning. As someone who appreciates books with pretty covers, this was an instant click for me. I'm also a total sucker for the ex-boyfriend's dad trope, and let me tell you, the smut in this book is seriously good. If you're looking for book ideas for women that are steamy, captivating, and perhaps a little taboo, 'Wild Card' definitely delivers. Elsie Silver is quickly becoming a favorite for her ability to craft compelling characters and sizzling chemistry. Finding books with beautiful covers is a passion of mine. Sometimes, it's the cover that first draws you in, promising an adventure or a romance before you even read the blurb. Special editions, especially from places like Barnes & Noble, often feature unique artwork or exclusive content, making them even more desirable. When I'm looking for book ideas for women, I often find myself gravitating towards titles that are not only well-written but also visually appealing. It's amazing how much a beautiful cover can enhance the reading experience! For those of you on the hunt for cool new books or compiling your next book lists, I highly recommend checking out authors like Mia Sheridan and Elsie Silver. Whether you prefer the convenience of Amazon books or the in-person browsing experience at a bookstore, there are so many fantastic reads waiting to be discovered. I love keeping up with book reviews on Lemon8 and BookTok to find out what's new and what's worth adding to my TBR. What's on your list right now, or what recent book haul has you buzzing? I'd love to hear your recommendations!
