Influence: Influence
Yuri and Satoko were best friends from childhood until elementary school, and there was a reason why Yuri's family wanted her to distance herself from her friends.
When I got to high school, Yuri became close to Maho, a new kid who had just moved from Tokyo, but there was also a reason why Maho's mother wanted her to distance herself from Yuri.
Their lives crossed the line of pink-to-gray age since Maho and Yuri were still good. Yuri stabbed a man to protect Maho. Both rushed to flee the scene, but the next day news broke that Satoko had killed himself and been taken to custody instead.
When Satoko is acquitted, she demands that Yuri do something in exchange for silencing the truth forever, but the day Yuri is about to act back, something happens first.
At the end of high school, the three dispersed on their own until one day Yuri happened to meet Satoko, and the stories of the past came back again.
I can't tell you a lot. I'll spoil every point. Throughout the book, there are periodic surprises. Read and be suspicious of the relationship of the three people with Yuri as an intermediary.
Confused with Yuri's idea at some point that if he decides to ignore it, no one can do anything, but being defeated by a psychological squeeze, he has to do something wrong.
Goodreads gave 3.8, we gave 4.1.
