ในชีวิตประจำวันที่เราเจอกันอยู่ทุกวัน ความคิดเห็นและคำวิจารณ์จากคนรอบข้างเป็นเรื่องที่หลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ ไม่ว่าจะตั้งใจทำดีมากแค่ไหน บางครั้งก็ยังเจอคนจับผิดหรือพูดถึงในแง่ลบอยู่ดี จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่เคยผ่านเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้มา สิ่งที่ผมเรียนรู้คือ การรับมือกับเสียงนินทาอย่างมีสติและใจเย็นนั้นสำคัญมาก เมื่อเจอการถูกวิจารณ์โดยที่ไม่ได้ให้โอกาสเราอธิบาย หรือบางครั้งคำพูดที่ถูกนำมาต่อกันจนขยายเกินความจริง สิ่งที่ทำได้คือการไม่ตอบโต้ด้วยคำพูดที่รุนแรง เพื่อไม่ให้สถานการณ์บานปลาย และรักษาความสงบในใจไว้ การเป็นคนที่ไม่พูดมากหรือไม่ชอบออกตัวบ่อยครั้งก็ถูกมองว่าแปลก หรือพูดมากก็โดนว่าเด่นเกินไป ซึ่งไม่มีสูตรสำเร็จที่เหมาะกับทุกคน สิ่งสำคัญที่อยากฝากคือ "อย่าเอาคำพูดของคนอื่นมาวัดคุณค่าของตัวเอง" เพราะเสียงนอกนั้นเหมือนกระแสน้ำที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ตลอดเวลา แต่ตัวเราคือคนที่รู้จักตัวเองดีที่สุด หากมีคำที่ไม่เกี่ยวกับเราหรือดูเหมือนเป็นมุมมองส่วนตัวของผู้อื่น การปล่อยวางไปบ้างก็ช่วยให้ใจเราสบายขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ผมพบว่าคนที่เข้าใจเราจริง ๆ จะไม่เชื่อข่าวลือง่าย ๆ แต่จะมองจากสิ่งที่เราเป็นจริง ๆ นั่นทำให้ผมเลือกที่จะใช้เวลาพิสูจน์ความจริงด้วยการทำตัวเป็นธรรมดาและจริงใจต่อคนรอบข้าง มากกว่าการพยายามอธิบายหรือแก้ต่างทุกครั้ง เพราะสุดท้ายวันหนึ่งความจริงก็จะเป็นที่ประจักษ์เอง การมีพื้นที่ชีวิตที่ปลอดภัยและสบายใจสำคัญมาก ไม่ควรใช้เวลาหมกมุ่นกับความกังวลว่าใครจะพูดอะไรเกี่ยวกับเรา เพราะบางครั้งคนที่พูดเรื่องคนอื่นก็เพียงแค่อยากหายเหงาหรือไม่มีอะไรทำ ในฐานะคนที่ต้องเผชิญกับฟีดแบ็กเหล่านี้ ผมเลือกที่จะรับฟังเสียงที่สร้างสรรค์และคำแนะนำที่ช่วยพัฒนาตัวเองเท่านั้น สุดท้าย ชีวิตเราเป็นของเราเอง ไม่ใช่ของใครอื่น และวิธีที่เราจะฟังนินทาและดำเนินชีวิตต่อไปต่างหากที่สำคัญที่สุด การไม่ต้องชนะทุกคำพูดหรือเงียบเมื่อจำเป็น เป็นวิธีที่ช่วยให้จิตใจสงบและชีวิตเดินหน้าต่อได้อย่างมั่นคง
