As the calendar flips to 2025, my mind immediately jumps to all the incredible stories waiting to be discovered. I'm already buzzing with excitement about the literary adventures ahead, and while my initial list is just a starting point, it's packed with books I truly can't wait to get my hands on. First up, I'm absolutely captivated by the unique voice of Mona Awad. Her writing is so distinctive and often blends psychological suspense with dark humor. I've heard amazing things about her ability to craft narratives that keep you guessing, and I'm really looking forward to experiencing her storytelling firsthand this year. I love a book that challenges me and makes me think, and Awad's work seems to do just that. Then there's the incredibly popular Sarah J. Maas. No fantasy reader's list feels complete without her! I'm particularly eager to revisit the world of 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' with 'A Court of Silver Flames'. The characters are so richly developed, and the intricate world-building always pulls me in completely. I'm ready for more magic, romance, and high stakes – it's the perfect escape read. Speaking of epic fantasy, I'm also planning to finally immerse myself in Pierce Brown's Red Rising series. I've heard so much buzz about this dystopian space opera and its intense, action-packed plot. The sheer scale and ambition of the series intrigue me, and I'm ready to be swept away by its compelling characters and brutal world. It sounds like exactly the kind of saga you can get lost in for weeks. And for something with a bit more historical depth and emotional resonance, I've added Kristin Hannah's Winter Garden to my queue. I'm a big fan of her ability to craft powerful, poignant stories about family and resilience. I'm expecting a heartwarming yet heartbreaking journey that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression. Her books always hit me right in the feels! As I compile my 2025 TBR (To Be Read) list, I'm always on the lookout for the latest novels to read and highly-recommended gems. While my initial picks are solid, I'm also eyeing a few other titles that have caught my attention. For instance, if you're into epic, hard science fiction, I've had Neal Stephenson's Seveneves on my radar for a while now. The concept sounds incredibly grand and thought-provoking, exploring humanity's survival in the face of catastrophe. It's a hefty read, but sometimes those are the most rewarding. For those who love a good fantasy series with political intrigue, I've also heard fantastic things about The Burning Kingdoms by Sally Green. It seems to offer a fresh take on magical power and rebellion, and I'm always open to discovering new fantasy worlds. And if cozy mysteries are more your speed, exploring a series like the Denise Swanson books in order can provide hours of delightful, lighthearted entertainment. Building a diverse reading list is so much fun, and my goal for 2025 is to explore different genres and authors. My best tip for creating your own exciting TBR is to keep an open mind, read reviews, and don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Happy reading, everyone! I can't wait to see what literary adventures 2025 brings.

We definitely need to be friends. I haven’t read acotar yet. I also look forward to Winter Garden and I am in the same place as you with Magnolia Parks. I bought it for my bestie for Christmas so we can read it together. That should get me through it! The selfish gift. 😂
