January Reads (1st Book)
January is starting off with a bang! 💥
I’m not sure about you, but when I choose a book I very much judge the book by the cover. If the cover isn’t appealing to me, I more than likely will not buy it. I mean, c’mon, that’s marketing right!?
Anyway, I also don’t read the back usually. I choose solely based off the cover and font used. I’m not sure what I thought this book was about. I assumed it was on social construct and navigating life, boy was I off by a LANDSLIDE.
There are plenty of topics that are sprinkled in this book but it’s definitely page turning. (For those who read this book, did anyone else think this was written similarly to Gone Girl? At least the set up?)
