Lately, I’ve been diving into a variety of romance novels and audiobooks that really kept me hooked. Elsie Silver’s Heartless and the Chestnut Spring series stood out for their strong character relationships, even if some plot elements felt a bit rushed or draggy at times. The audiobook format has been a lifesaver for multitasking, allowing me to enjoy stories while commuting or doing chores. However, I did notice some chapters, especially one I paused mid-listen, were quite long—about 45 minutes each—so that took some getting used to. Narrators can make a big difference; luckily, the ones I listened to were great and made the stories easier to absorb. For anyone joining the BookTok community or looking for good romance reads, I highly recommend exploring audiobooks on platforms like Audible, especially for fantasy and young adult genres. They add a new layer of emotional depth that reading alone sometimes doesn’t capture as vividly.
