When building your portfolio, include a range of samples that showcase different skills — from email management to social media posts or scheduling. Even volunteer work or tasks done in previous roles can demonstrate your capabilities. Collecting testimonials early strengthens your credibility. For client searching, beyond freelance platforms, try pitching your services directly to startups, entrepreneurs, or local businesses that could benefit from virtual assistance. Tailoring your pitch to explain precisely how you can solve their problems increases your chances of landing projects.
