As a mom to two young boys, balancing parenting with my passion for education has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned that incorporating play-based learning at home is a fantastic way to nurture curiosity and development in little ones, especially when combined with daily reading routines. Living with the energy of a toddler and an infant means my days are powered by coffee and lots of patience, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ADHD keeps my brain constantly moving, which sometimes makes multitasking a necessity and a blessing. I strive to model lifelong learning to my kids because I believe this mindset creates resilience and a love for discovery that lasts a lifetime. With over a decade of teaching experience from TK to 8th grade and multiple credentials, I’ve gathered a wealth of strategies that are perfect for families wanting to make learning enjoyable and accessible. Whether it’s simple crafts, interactive storytelling, or educational play, these tips help create meaningful moments that contribute to early childhood growth and development. If you’re a parent or educator looking to enrich your child’s learning environment with creative and practical ideas, I’m excited to share this journey with you. Together, we can explore how to turn everyday activities into powerful learning experiences, fostering a happy and thriving early learning stage for our little ones.
