The journey is so real 🥹

... Read moreHey everyone! I wanted to dive a little deeper into what I mean when I say, "The journey is so real." You saw the sneak peek, right? That feeling of "CRAZY HOW I WENT FROM THIS.. TO THISSS" is something I truly live and breathe every day, both in my art and my personal life. For a long time, the ‘this’ I was coming from felt like a muted version of myself. As an artist, I struggled to find my unique voice. My work felt... generic, or worse, like I was trying to fit into a mold that wasn't mine. There was a constant battle between creating what I thought others wanted to see and what truly resonated within me. It wasn't just my art; it was my whole being. There was an underlying current of not fully embracing who I was, especially concerning my LGBT identity. It felt like I was holding back, not just from others, but from myself. The real transformation started not with a single moment, but with a series of small, brave steps. I began to experiment more with my art, allowing myself to make mistakes and explore themes that felt deeply personal. This meant challenging my own perfectionism and letting go of the fear of judgment. Simultaneously, I started opening up about my identity, finding incredible support within the LGBT community and among friends who loved me for who I am. This process of self-discovery was messy, beautiful, and absolutely real. It wasn't always easy. There were days filled with doubt, creative blocks, and moments where I questioned if I was on the right path. But through it all, I learned the importance of perseverance and self-compassion. I realized that my art flourished when I was truly authentic, and my personal life became richer when I allowed myself to be vulnerable. This synergy between my artistic and personal growth is what truly defines my journey. Now, the ‘thisss’ I’ve arrived at is a place of genuine self-acceptance and creative freedom. My art reflects my authentic self, vibrant and expressive, carrying the stories and emotions of my experiences. My LGBT identity isn’t just a part of me; it’s a source of strength and inspiration that fuels my creativity and enriches my perspective. It’s a real-life experience of growth that has shaped me into the person and artist I am today. If you're on your own journey, whether it's artistic, personal, or about embracing your identity, remember that every step, no matter how small, counts. Allow yourself to grow, to change, and to truly be yourself. The transformation might feel crazy at times, but it’s undeniably worth it. Your authentic self is your greatest masterpiece, and documenting and sharing that journey, no matter how unique, is incredibly empowering. Keep going, because your 'to thisss' moment is waiting for you.
