私も以前は蛇口の外側しか掃除していませんでしたが、『水が出るところ』の裏側を照らしてみたら、想像以上の黒カビと水垢に驚きました。特に湿気の多い場所だとカビが繁殖しやすく、見えないところに細菌が溜まっていると考えるとゾッとします。 掃除にはクエン酸がとても効果的です。クエン酸は自然由来で身体にも環境にも優しいのが魅力。私の場合、ぬるま湯200mlに小さじ1杯のクエン酸を溶かし、ペットボトルなどに液を入れて蛇口の吐水口にかぶせて30分から1時間放置。その後、古歯ブラシで軽くこすると、黒い塊が取れてすっきりします。最初は抵抗感がありましたが、きれいになる快感がクセになりました。 また、掃除後は水道の出る部分を乾燥させてカビの繁殖を防ぐことも大切です。定期的にこの掃除方法を繰り返すことで、安心して水を使える環境を作れます。家族の健康を守る上で小さな手入れですが、大きな効果があるのでぜひ試してみてください。
