Book and life update
Hi guys I’m am baaacckk!
First I want to formally apologize to everyone for not posting for 3 years I was going through so much during that time, first it was homelessness then I went to a program to better my life then they sent me to college and then I tried to go to a private college to continue education but I became in debt with them because they are expensive and I thought my financial aid will cover it but it did not so I tried to get a job but nobody’s trying to hire anyone now these days so I decided to finally focus on making my dark romance book.
now for my book I been doing a little research and I was think of getting a ghostwriter for the book. Because I think the ghostwriter would have done a better job of putting my ideas together then I will for example I know how to write my female lead and how to present her but when it comes to my male lead I do not know how to write or present him in a manly way. And it other things as well. But i did get in contact with her but she turned out to be expensive but she advise me to seek out writing partners or writing community’s so if there someone or group out there please dm me but this is a huge project I’m working on I would love to seek guidance. But what do you guys think? Should I start a gofunedme or find partners and communities.

Taking a break from my writing journey was tough but necessary for my mental health and personal growth. During those years, I experienced homelessness, took part in programs to improve my life, and pursued education despite facing overwhelming debt and a tough job market. These experiences shaped my perspective and deepened the emotional layers I want to explore in my dark romance novel. When it comes to writing complex characters, especially male leads, I found it challenging to authentically capture a 'manly' presence on the page without falling into stereotypes. This is why I considered hiring a ghostwriter, but the costs were prohibitive. Instead, I’m looking to collaborate with writing partners or engage with creative communities. Such connections can offer fresh insights and support, making this ambitious project more manageable. The quote from the OCR — "You should not have to give in on your dreams because of obligations to your family. You should be able to be independent and live your life." — really resonates with me. Balancing family responsibilities while chasing dreams is something many people struggle with, including myself. It reminds me that pursuing your passion, like writing this book, is a vital step toward independence and fulfillment. Also, involving communities such as #blackromanceauthors and #blackgirlmagic has been motivational, as they foster solidarity and encouragement among writers with similar backgrounds. Sharing experiences and advice in such groups can provide important emotional and professional support. If you’re also an aspiring author or someone navigating life’s ups and downs, know that it’s okay to take breaks and seek help. Whether through partnerships, crowdfunding, or mentorship, collaborating with others can bring your creative vision to life while helping you stay motivated.
