... Read moreAs someone who has faced many moments of exhaustion and fear, I find the June 8 devotionals deeply encouraging. The reminder that strength comes not from our own efforts but from trusting in God's power is a turning point for me in difficult times. For instance, the verse from Exodus 15:1-2 highlights how God's triumph provides us with the strength to endure even the most overwhelming challenges. In my experience, fear can feel as heavy as the "elephant on the shoulders" described in the devotional about Jairus’ faith in Luke 8:50. Yet choosing to replace fear with faith requires conscious daily effort. I have found that meditating on God’s promises helps me push back despair and find peace. Faith truly becomes the antidote to fear when we lean on God’s strength rather than our own. Physical weariness is another real struggle. The Psalm 6:2 passages resonate for anyone feeling faint or achy amid busy schedules and relentless demands. I have learned that asking God for mercy and energy is vital, but so is practical wisdom about rest and self-care. Listening to my body and aligning my daily routine to include periods of rest helps me sustain my energy levels. Moreover, the devotional’s emphasis on inviting God into our frailty teaches me to be gentle with myself during low times and to seek spiritual renewal. The encouragement to "come with thanksgiving, desiring to be transformed" spoke to my heart, reminding me that healing often begins with openness and gratitude. Finally, the idea of manifesting positive thoughts and words is powerful. It reminds me that what we focus on shapes our reality. By centering my thoughts on hope, trust, and God’s faithfulness, I gradually experience a shift in my attitude and spiritual strength. These reflections have been a source of comfort and motivation, encouraging me to persevere and find joy in the journey, knowing I am held by a loving and powerful God.

Lemon8 made a mistake 😱
I won a challenge from Lemon8 and received not one, but two boxes of the makeup brush set I wanted. The challenge was only supposed to award one set, so getting two was a pleasant surprise. I'm thrilled, and so is my niece. Since I didn’t need the second set, I happily gave it to her. 🥰 #glow
