Small business packaging tips
Hi!! My name is Reggie and I own a small business called ReggieDeisgnCo :)
I’ve gotten really good at packing orders and I thought I could share some of my favorite tips with you 🫶
1) make everything cohesive. This is so so important for your brand and I cant recommend enough. Every item for packaging has the same look.
2) get creative!! I love getting creative for packaging. For the tags for my clothing I made them in the shape of a tshirt and where the actual logo goes I put mine. It’s so much fun and I love it.
3) give freebies!! People LOVE free things and will be more likely to repurchase if they feel like they are being rewarded.
4) buy a thermal label printer. I have a Rollo printer and it’s amazing. I can print my labels on it but I also make packaging stickers. If I were to buy a roll of labels it could cost me up to $100 for a roll but you can buy a roll of thermal labels for $13 and make your own designs in Canva. Such a good trick!!
Let me know which tip is your favorite 🤩

So glad you're loving these tips! Since we're talking about making packaging truly special, especially for those looking to create adorable 'girls box' designs or just generally cute packaging, I wanted to dive a little deeper into the creative side. I totally get wanting your packages to feel like a gift, not just an order, right? Beyond just making everything cohesive, let's talk about how to infuse that extra touch of personality. For my own brand, I absolutely adore pink-themed elements, and it really shows in everything from my custom stickers to those cute t-shirt care tags that are actually shaped like little shirts! It's these small details that make a huge difference. When you're thinking about your 'girls box design,' consider a theme. Is it whimsical, chic, playful, or elegant? Once you have a theme, it becomes so much easier to pick out colors, patterns, and even fonts for your thank-you cards. Speaking of thank-you cards, I always make sure mine have positive messages – it's a small gesture but it truly brightens someone's day and encourages them to come back. You can even add a little handwritten note for that super personal touch! Think about layering. It’s not just the box itself, but what’s inside. Pretty tissue paper in a coordinating color, maybe some biodegradable confetti or crinkle paper, really elevates the unboxing experience. And don't forget about custom stickers! You can design them easily on Canva, like I do for my thermal labels, and use them to seal tissue paper, decorate the outside of the box, or even as a freebie. Another idea for that extra spark? Consider small, themed trinkets that fit your brand. For example, if your brand is about self-care, maybe a tiny lavender sachet. Or if it's jewelry, a cute little polishing cloth. These don't have to be expensive; the thought behind them is what counts. And let's not forget the outside! If you're using plain mailers or boxes, a custom stamp with your logo or a fun pattern can instantly transform it. Or, for a more eco-friendly approach, tie a pretty ribbon or twine around the package instead of excessive tape. The key is to think about the entire journey your customer takes from receiving the package to opening it. Every touchpoint is an opportunity to reinforce your brand and make them feel special. It’s all about creating that memorable moment, whether it’s a 'girls box design' for a specific product or just a universally delightful unboxing experience for all your customers. Hope these extra tips help you sprinkle even more magic into your small business packages!

Just followed you 🥰🥰
