They also have a small gift shop where you can buy souvenirs, and all proceeds go directly back to the donkeys. Once you're there, the interactive animal experience begins almost immediately! I loved being able to walk around and greet the donkeys. They are incredibly gentle and curious. The highlight for me was definitely the feeding experience. You can purchase bags of approved donkey food (like carrots or apples) on-site, but I even saw other visitors feeding them fresh pineapple slices, just like in one of the photos I took! It's such a unique and memorable way to connect with them one-on-one. Just remember to feed them carefully and always follow the sanctuary's guidelines to ensure safety for both you and the animals. What truly struck me was the pure joy of seeing these animals thriving. Beyond feeding, you can simply spend time observing them, petting their soft fur (with permission, of course!), and learning about the challenges donkeys face in the wild.
