Dilo shenanigans

... Read moreHey Dilo fans! You saw our crazy Quetzal takedown, but let me tell you more about what makes playing as a Dilophosaurus in Path of Titans so much fun – and deadly! Getting a dilo trio together, like we did, is probably the best way to experience these guys. The absolute star of the show for Dilos is their bleed attack. It’s what makes them such effective hunters, even against larger opponents. My personal tip? Aim for quick, successive bites to stack that bleed. It might not seem like much at first, but like we saw with that quetzal, it adds up incredibly fast, often leading to hilarious and unexpected outcomes as prey tries to escape but just... bleeds out. Seriously, 'dilo bleed is insane' is an understatement! Playing in a dilo trio or even a larger pack amplifies this. You can surround targets, constantly apply bleed, and prevent them from healing or escaping. It's exhilarating to coordinate with your friends, especially on PS5, and watch a massive creature slowly succumb to your combined efforts. We're always 'up to no good' when we're together, because we know we can take on almost anything with good teamwork. When I'm setting up my Dilo, I usually focus on speed and stamina to chase down prey and get those crucial bites in. Some players prefer a bit more health, but I find that staying agile and constantly harassing is key. Remember, Dilos aren't meant to tank hits; they're skirmishers. Your goal is to apply bleed and then kite, letting the damage tick. Being bloodthirsty is definitely part of the Dilo mindset! While taking down a Quetzal is a huge victory, Dilos are fantastic against mid-tier herbivores and even smaller carnivores. Just be mindful of larger apex predators – a Rex or Spino can one-shot you if you're not careful. But even then, with a good pack and smart bleed application, you can sometimes annoy them enough to drive them off or even get lucky. The thrill of the hunt, knowing you're relying on skill and teamwork, is what keeps me coming back to Path of Titans as a Dilo. So if you're thinking of trying out the Dilophosaurus, embrace the bleed, form a pack, and get ready for some truly memorable hunts. It's a challenging but incredibly rewarding creature to play. Let me know your favorite Dilo moments!
