Happy gotcha day Mojito!
Mojito is a little guy that the San Jose shelter contacted me about. They were no longer able to cover his care, and the Foster either had to release him to another rescue or, they were going to have to euthanize him. He came in with deformation in the thoracic spine in T 11 and T 12. He had a head tilt that was getting increasingly worse and showed signs of neurological issues because his back legs failed on him for a short period of time. The moment I saw the video of him, I knew I had to take him in! Then, the miraculous happened! I took him to our new vet for the rescue, and the lead vet tech there fell in love with him! As a matter of fact, the entire staff fell in love with him! According to the vet, it looks like little guy is just going to have to live with his condition. There’s really nothing we can do to fix it. However, if he should show any sign of decline at any point, he is in the perfect hands! Happy gotcha day Mojito!
