Hey everyone! I have not spent very much time on lemon8 , so I wanted to introduce you all to this sweet dude! This is Ricky Bobby, and he was surrendered to my rescue about three weeks ago. This boy is a very special case. His original owner found him when he was being swung by the tail by some really not so great kids. The man rescued him, took him to the vet where his tail was amputated and they found that he had a neurological issue making it hard for him to properly go to the bathroom. Sadly, the man had to surrender him recently and it’s a good thing he did because his situation is much worse than anyone thought. He is not incontinent like the previous Vet diagnosed, he is extremely backed up and needs help. Going to the bathroom. So, I have been working for the past several days/weeks to help clear up his system and keep him on a healthy track so he can live a long and happy life!He is up for adoption as a special needs, however, I have a completely open door policy with him and will allow him to remain with me at the Rescue for the rest of his life if need be.
